At Broomfields Junior School, we are excited to be nearing the completion of a major transformation of our school. Through significant investment, we have created a modern, welcoming learning environment designed to help every child thrive.
We have refurbished classrooms, upgraded toilets and created new breakout spaces to support both learning and wellbeing. Every improvement has been carefully planned, from better lighting, air quality and acoustics to calming colours that help children feel comfortable, focused and ready to learn.
As our refurbishment project reaches its final stages, our pupils are already enjoying bright, inspiring spaces that support learning, wellbeing and success. Alongside our enhanced facilities, we are proud to provide an inclusive and engaging curriculum that nurtures curiosity, builds resilience and helps every child achieve their full potential.
Our extensive outdoor areas, including spacious fields, play equipment and natural spaces for outdoor learning, give children the opportunity to explore, play, discover and grow. Combined with our newly enhanced facilities, Broomfields is a place where children are happy, confident and well prepared for the future.

A Smooth Transition from Infant to Junior School
The Cobbs Infant and Nursery School is our main feeder school and is located just two minutes down the road. We work closely with The Cobbs’ staff, parents and children to ensure every child experiences a smooth, positive and supportive transition from Infant to Junior School.
By working together and sharing knowledge about each child, we help pupils feel confident, settled and ready to continue their learning journey with us at Broomfields.
